Don't skip the most valuable step in life's largest purchases.
So you've went through all the searching, got the financing, have chosen the perfect property and you’re ready to take a huge step and make a major life decision, so why would you opt out of having an inspection? Having your property inspected by a qualified and objective inspector could be the smartest decision you make.
An inspection is information, and what is more valuable than information? Understand the situation, the seller wants to sell, the real-estate agents want to sell and you as the buyer have an emotional attachment to the property you have chosen. What you need is someone who is not invested in the sell or purchase process, someone who simply sees the structure and all of its many components and how they are working together. Having an inspection provides you valuable information so that you can make an informed decision and could also save you from surprises that can cost thousands of dollars.
You should also understand what an inspection is NOT. Unfortunately as a highly qualified and trained inspector I still cannot see the future nor do I have a crystal ball in my tool bag so an inspection is not a prediction to the future of the property or the life of its components. So, why not just check it out yourself or have "Uncle Joe" look at it for you? And the answer is….because they are not trained, qualified and licensed to do so. Anyone can spot the obvious but only a trained and qualified inspector can take all the information gathered during an inspection and determine the condition and function of the structure. In conclusion an inspection is simply information, and nothing is more valuable than information, so whether you choose Green Light Properties or another company do yourself a favor and have your property inspected by a highly qualified and licensed professional.
